MontrocB lies just outside the picturesque alpine village of Argentiere in the Chamonix valley. Argentiere is situated towards the head of the valley and is surrounded by the dramatic and rugged peaks of the Mont Blanc massif. The traditional mountain feel of the Savoyard village offers a warm and cosy welcome with a great variety of local bars and restaurants to experience. There is a newer side too with all the modern amenities and services, supermarket and nightclub and the shuttle buses run into Chamonix every 15 minutes. The Grands Montets ski area in Argentiere provides some of the most challenging skiing in the world both for intermediates and experts and Le Tour/Vallorcine is huge area is ideal for skiers and boarders trying it out for the first time. Montroc is in-between both of these areas. The luxury apartment is brand new MGM built to very high quality traditional alpine design with lots of natural wood panelling and quarry tiled floors. A spacious open plan living room has lots of comfortable seating with large French windows leading to an open south facing terrace. From here the wonderful view is of the valley looking down to Mont Blanc itself. The living room has comfortable sofas (one converts into a full size double bed), French windows leading onto an the terrace and a dining table. The kitchen area is very modern and fully equipped with fridge/freezer compartment, a full size built-in oven, a four-ring halogen hob, dishwasher, toaster, and plenty of cupboard storage. Bedroom 1 is a double bed room with en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is a twin bedroom and bedroom 3 has 2 full size bunk beds. The main bathroom is equipped with a bath and shower, full size wash basin, WC, fully tiled with halogen lighting, hair dryer and heated towel rail. There is also a separate WC. There is an underground car park with space for one car and secure ski locker. For other cars there is parking close by. The owner of this chalet is an artist and has done some wonderful work which is displayed in the chalet. The courtesy ski bus stop is just down the road and the Le Tour - Chamonix buses run every 15 minutes starting early in the morning until late each evening. There are other apartments in the same building making larger groups possible.
