email info@myfrenchchalet.com tel +44 (0)20 7193 6513One of the great advantages of ski holidays in Chamonix is its proximity to Geneva airport - less than an hour away from all our ski apartments Chamonix, ski accommodation Chamonix and ski chalets Chamonix. There is a direct road into the town from the airport which remains open throughout the ski season. This makes it the ideal getaway location for your Chamonix holidays.
Getting to Chamonix (Plane and Transfer)By PlaneGeneva is the closest airport to Chamonix (98km). If you book your flights well in advance you can get some truly exceptional deals (and with our ski holiday accommodation it will be a bargain!). By Transfer - Car HireThis is a fast and easy way to get to Chamonix and gives you flexibility for the rest of your holiday. All our Chamonix apartments come with private parking. Our advice is to hire the car from the Swiss side, a little bit more expensive than the French side but far less hassle and if you hire from the French side there is an additional Swiss road tax charge of €30. This takes approximately 1hr.
