There is so much to do in Les Arcs (Arc 1800) even if you do not want to get carried away

Artificial Ice Rink
Based at the centre of the resort - take chair lift Vagere.

In Bourg Saint Maurice and Arc 1800 there are cinemas, featuring Dolby sound, and different screening times
throughout the day. Films marked VO on posters are shown in English.
Grotte de Glace
At the top of the Transarc chairlift, discover this exhibition with around
thirty sculptures on theme of nature and Vanoise Humans. Helicopter
You can take a helicopter ride over the mountains - an unbelievable experience.
Museum
In Bourg Saint Maurice visit Le Musee des Mineraux or Le Musee de la Pomme.
Library
In Bourg Saint Maurice, a library for the grown ups and the children.

In Arc 1800, a Canadian style snow park where you descend on rubber tube

Free access behind the station in Bourg Saint Maurice - without snow. Shopping
Arcs 1800 and Bourg Saint Maurice has a wide range of shops, catering for all tastes and budgets. The
majority of shops are to be found in the central pedestrian precinct and the

- Hauteville-Gondon - home to one of the most beautiful baroque churches in the Haute Tarentaise region, offering an array of wonderful colours and gilding
- Séez - where craftsmanship goes hand in hand with tradition. Discover the spectacular baroque church of Saint Pierre and visit the Arpin Mill, where they have been carrying out the skills of the master woolworkers since 1817
- Vulmix - visit the old village of Vulmix, nestled around a 15th century chapel
- Follow Hannibal’s footsteps to Aoste From Bourg-Saint-Maurice via la Thuile over the Col du Petit Saint-Bernard mountain pass. This road takes in the different landscapes of the Val d’Aoste, watched over by castles and church towers - the guardsmen of this legendary road.
Trip To Annecy
Try a trip to the Annecy and visit one of the most beautiful lakes of Europe.
The old town is a must for shops, restaurants and historic entertainment also
known as the Venice of the Alps.
Trip To Italy
Try a trip to the Aoste Valley, over the Grand and Petit Saint Bernard pass.
Panoramic views and can even see the Eiger on clear days. Be warned though
that this pass is usually closed in winter months.
Trip To Switzerland
A popular daytrip is a scenic train ride over the border to Switzerland with the
Saint Bernard Express. Once in Martigny visit The Pierre Gianadda Foundation.
Another popular stop is the little Swiss village of Chatelard. From here the
steep Chatelard Funicular takes visitors up to the Emosson dam and lake.
