This Saint Gervais studio apartment is in one of the best parts and most prestigious developments of Saint Gervais - Residence les Pistes - right on the Bettex lift and ski in and off! It has been newly renovated this year (2005) to a very high specification. The location is fabulous, right next to the ski slope, 10 minutes walk to the main telecabine Bettex (or 2 minute ski down) and 5 minutes walk to Saint Gervais centre. You can be skiing Megeve and Praz sur Arly in minutes! Despite its location, it is set in its own grounds, slightly above the town therefore enjoys peaceful surroundings. It is a small chalet block but has all amenities around it - ski hire, restaurants, supermarkets and boulangeries - all 5 minutes walk. The basement includes a secure ski locker and there is an optional garage available to hire. The apartment offers spectacular views up the valley towards the Mont Blanc Area and from outside some of the best views of Mont Blanc. The kitchen is fully equipped with a mini-oven, four-ring halogen hob, extractor fan, fridge-freezer and plenty of cupboard storage full of utensils. The lounge has a comfortable sofa bed - which splits into 2 singles and a toasty warm rug, plus ample seating around a wooden dining table. There is a TV, CD and DVD player. The large French window opens out on to a sunny south west facing balcony where you can see the last skiers return! Although a studio apartment, the coin de montagne is separated from the lounge by a solid door and this area contains two full size bunk beds plus plenty of storage space - ideal for kids to hideaway at night or those wanting peace with achy legs! The single sofa beds in the lounge are also full size. The bathroom has a full size bath, shower, full size basin, and plenty of cupboards, plus s separate WC. The hall has an additional cupboard for extra storage. We have another apartment identical to this in the chalet residence for rent. This is absolute idea accommodation for a group or family of four, wanting to be central with the ease of the slopes only being across the grass.
